The book is written like the journal of Jonathan Harker, and this definitely makes the story much more frightening. Because it's the thoughts of the man who is trapped in Dracula's house, the reader is drawn into him, made into him while they're reading. They become the man, sitting at the end of each night and writing about what happened. They have expernienced what he has, and since the last time I read, things have gotten creepier.
Jonathan waits outside the castle for a very long time, but Dracula eventually opens the door for him. He takes him to his room, and lets him eat although he says that he "does not sup." Then, they sit in front of the fire and talk until dawn. Jonathan goes to sleep and wakes up around supper time the next day, while Dracula is still "away." Once it's leter in the day and the sun has started to go down, the nobleman returns.
He finds Jonathan in the library and asks him abotu England because he has just bought an estate there. It's very close to an insane asylum, there's a dark pool on the property, and the house is thick, medeival, and has few windows in the main part. Dracula claims that because he is old and his heart has been spent mourning death for so long, he enjoys the gloom the place will present for him.
Then, "they" eat although Dracula appologizes that he's already eaten while away. They sit in front of the fire again and talk until dawn.
Jonathan can't sleep in because he can't fall into a deep enough sleep. He gets up only a few hours after falling asleep and has to hang his shaving mirror on the wall because there are no other mirrors in the house, apparently. He's shaving and Dracula comes up behind him, though he doesn't see him because the "man" has no reflection. He makes Jonathan jump when he places a hand on his shoulder, and Jonathan cuts himself slightly with the razor.
Suddenly, the vampire becomes furious and lunges to grab Jonathon's throat with his hand. His fingers touch the old woman's rosary beads that Jonathan wears all the time now after she gave them to him, and he becomes calm again almost instantly. He says, "Take care how you cut yourself. It is more dangerous than you think in this country."
He leaves and Jonathan goes to explore the castle. He finds that although there is a beautiful view, all the doors are locked. He's a "prisoner" in the castle, and couldn't get out if he needed to.
Extra: So far most of Dracula's appearance has been provided, and it's quite different than how we picture him. He's a tall, thin man with thick white hair, thinning over the temples, and a thick, white mustache that almost hides his teeth from view. His lips are very red, which Jonathan takes as a sign of good health, and his canine teeth are so long and sharp that they poke out over his bottom lip. He has delicate skin and a broad chin. His cheek bones are slightly sunken, he has an arching nose with a high, thin bridge and arched nostrils, and a "lofty, domed forehead." His ears are pointed, and he has very bushy, white eyebrows. Dracula wears all black, all the time. There's no white shirt underneath and no red cape-lining. He dresses like a gentleman, but completely without color.

Today I read the pages 1 to 29 the first chapter. In this pages, Bella one of the main character has her first birthday with her father and her new boyfriend Edward. Unlike most of the girls Bella doesn't like the attention that people give her when it's her birthday. But, her boyfriend Edward and his family wants to celebrate the birthday. Because Edward and his family is vampires, they don't get any older. So, for them it's like the first real birthday that they could celebrate all together.
Extra:
I think the fact that Bella doesn't like celebrating birthday makes her a little bit different from normal girls. Also because her boyfriend is a vampire there are difference between them and I think it's very unique.
I have read until page 210.
Where I left off Liz had just discovered that Jean Luc was her host, now she is staying with her two friends in his fathers beautiful mansion/ vinyard. As the days go by they become better and better friends and her fealings become stronger and stronger for him. She can't make a move though because of a certain beautiful french blond girlfriend with $600 flipflops and fake boobs. The girlfriend isn't even nice though. She's rude to the staff and wants to turn the gorgeous vinyard into a place that plastic surgery patients woud go to to recover, a hotel. She wanted to competly renovate the the two hundred year old mansion, even take out the tubs with paws on the legs!

p.18-27
The story of the pages that I read was about Morrie Schwartz interviewing with Ted Koppal, the host of ABC-TV's "Nightline". Ted came to Morrie's house to interview him about his life. Morrie was trying to be positive with his fate. He was trying to live and end his life differently to other people who are in the same situations as his. When interviewing with Ted, Morrie didn't wear fancy clothes or put make up on. He wanted to show what it is really like to face a fate like his to other people. He was answering the questions of Ted very honestly. The speaker of the book watched the program on TV and he met Morrie after sixteen years of not seeing him. They hugged each other.

I read pages 6 to 16 (chapter2 to chapter 4). In these chapters, the Bennet family and their neighbors have a ball party for Mr. Bingley, who bought a house in their town. In the party, Mr. Bingley danced with ladies and they all tought that he was a humorous, respected, well agreeable person. They were delighted to dance with him. Mr. Bingley brought 5 members from England to join him at the party. His sisters were handsome and fasionable. Mr. Bingley's friend, Mr. Darcy, however was a very unagreeable perseon, who thought of himself as the highest and did not wanted to dance with any girl because they were all not right for his rank. I think there will be an interesting thing that will go on between Mr. Bingley and Mr. Darcy because they are friends but their personalities are so different from each other.

The book is written from the point of view of the main character, Remy. It is told with a very relaxed feel and the word choice is very clear and easy to understand.
While Remy was waiting for her dad to seal a deal in the auto shop with a customer, Remy unpleasantly met Dexter. A boy who 'accidentally' ran into her and wrote his phone number on her hand. Remy was left disgusted and Dexter was called back to the car by his friends. After that incident Remy went out with her friends and she was explaining to them how she was going to break up with her current boyfriend because she want to be tied down with such silly things before college. Her friends didnt quite agree with her plan, but she is determined to do it. When I left off, Remy and her friends were waiting for Chloe to show up and hang out with them.

I left off where Bella thanks her dad, Charlie, about her car. Then they talked about how the weather is very different than Phoenix. Next, they finally arrived to Charlie's house. Everything was the same as last time. Then she unpacked everything then settled down. The next morning, she had a breakfast with her dad and he wished her a good luck.
Bella left the house quickly, and finally arrived to her new school called Forks High School. She arrived with her red old truck, then went to school office.
Then she got her schedule for all of her classes.
She went to all of the classes and met few nice people. Afterwards, they all went to the cafeteria for lunch. People kept asking her about how she likes the school and stared at her. But In the far corner, she found group of people that were the only ones seemed not to be interested in Bella, because they weren't looking at her or anything. She thought they were very different than the others, because they all had trays of foods right in front of them but did not eat them and even paler than Bella, the albino.

The book explains about lot of different characters until page 10 ,which is the first chapter of the book. In Elizabath's funeral, a lot of socialites comes and say good bye to her. People such as Teddy Cuttig, James Hazen Hyde were the people who respected and loved Elizabath when she was alive. Henry Schoomaker was a person who was about to get married with Elizabath.
The setting of the book changes in the last part of my reading. The time goes back to few weeks before the funeral. Elizabath was just coming back from Paris and her sister Diana takes place in this part. Diana is described as a girl who has a beautiful face like her sister but who has a opposite personality from her.

Sadly, I haven't read a lot this weekend. I read chapter two and as it was when I read chapter one, I had to read it over and over again because it was hard to understand. To be honest, I feel like I am loosing my interest in this book. What should I do? Well, I have to keep reading it. Chapter two was about the debate between Mrs. John Dashwood and Mr. John Dashwood. They had a fight over if the inheritance should go to the eldest son or to everybody which was what the grandfather wanted them to do. So, Mr. John Dashwood is in his side and Mrs. John Dashwood is in the other side that they shouldn't do that because it will break the generation. I personally was in the side of Mr. John Dashwood while I was reading the book. I was in his side because I believe men and women are both equal so I feel that both can continue letting the generation going. They don't decide what they will do and chapter two is ended.
Ovid, The Metamorphoses

The next section of the Metamorphosis is about Phaeton, the son of Phoebus (Apollo). After being ridiculed by his friends, who do not believe in Phaeton's lineage, he sets out to find his father at his palace. Phaeton does find him, and Phoebus, embracing his son, says that he may have anything that he desires. Phaeton chooses, then to drive his father's chariot, that is to say, carry the sun over the earth. Despite his fathers' pleas and warnings, he rides the chariot across the skies.
As Phoebus predicted, Phaeton wasn't ready, and causes much destruction. He burns and scorches the earth, drying rivers, boiling the seas, and obliterating forests and cities alike. Jupiter (Zeus) has no choice, but to strike down Phaeton with a lightning bolt, in order to save the world. And so he does, and Phaeton hurtles toward the earth, burning. Phoebus is so upset by this, that no one sees the sun for four days. His mother, Clymene, is also upset by this, and looks for his body, in order to give him a proper burial. His sisters, too, grieve for his death, and find his grave, that the nymphs made for him. There, his sisters weep for four days, and find, afterward, that they have turned into amber trees.
Of the stories that I have read, so far, they are all explanation stories of some sort, for example in this passage, Ovid uses the scorching of the earth as a reason for why Ethiopians are black, and why Libya is mostly desert:
"...That day, they say/The Ethiopians were burnt black/That day/Libya, in a flash of steam/Became a shimmering desert/ Where the nymphs of the springs and lakes/Wandered like wraiths, wailing for lost water..."
The stories are intricately detailed, such that no minor point is missed. Each represents a different explanation for a different event in history, or a fact of life that was unexplainable "back then". Perhaps the great scorching of the earth by Phaeton could be an explanation for a year of intense heat, and the resulting wildfire.

The next chapter is about a lady named Gabriella. She wanted to be a famous actor since she made a mistake in a play when she was young. Her fellow students didn't like her for that mistake and she decides that she will make them bow to her by being a famous actor. But she is getting older. She is 25 years old and did many commercials, photographs but was not famous. That is when she came to Europe. She is staying with other similar ladies as her from different country. One day she gets a call that she has 2 auditions on that day. She rapidly dresses up and put thin make up and leave her apartment feeling excitement.
As I've read farther in 'The Awakening' it seems that Chloe is getting more and more powerful and not realizing it. She finds out that she's part of an experiment monitoring supernatural kids and her friends are part of it too.
Chloe believes she is in danger along with the rest of the supernatural children who are being kept captive by a group of supernatural adults called the 'Edison Group'.
Chloe is becoming more and more scared and she sees one of the people who had shot her with a gun in the previous book when she was trying to escape with her friend from a mental hospital. Chloe decides then that she needs to leave right there and then. So Chloe is taken out to look for her friends by one of the adults and makes her escape.
