In chapter 9 of the gensis it explains the reward that noah got for making the arch. god shows gratittude
by blessing him. He also say that he's going to make a covonant with noah.

This chapter of Genesis tells the story of Noah’s journey after the flood. The earth is fully covered by water for months, but Noah sends out a dove to see if there if the water is still engulfing the entire earth, and after fruitless attempts, the dove brings back a olive leaf, signifying the return of life to the earth. Noah returns with his family and animals, and creates an alter for the lord, which brings the lord to vow that he shall not “curse the ground,” and “smite” all things living again.
In Chapter 9, God commands Noah and his family to '...be fruitful, and multiply,' while reminding them of the covenant they have established between themselves, God and the animals of the Ark, as well as its mandates. the Narrator tells of Noah's fruitful farmers life, and his clothes-ing from nakedness by his sons Ham and Japheth, for which he makes Ham's son Canaan a perpetual servant. We are also told of Noah's years and hi sons.

Chapter 8 in the Book of Genesis, tells about Noah after the flood, as the waters begin to receed. Noah sent out a dove to see if the waters have abated and the dove returned with an olive leaf, proving that the earth was not stil completely covered in water. So, Noah let every animal out of the ark and built God an alter, God recognized Noah's help and swore never to punish the earth for man's mistakes.
In this chapter, a flood occurs in the beginning. Noah first sends a raven to come back and forth until the earth dries and he also sends a dove to see if the earth has dried out. The dove comes back and says that the earth has not dried out yet but a few days later, the earth does dry so Noah brings all the animals and his family to god to get water again.

Chapter 8
after the incredibly massive flood, the waters begin to recede. Noah sends a raven and dove to check up on the water. WHen the dove returns on day with an olive leaf, Noah knew the waters were gone and the "face of the earth was dry." God then allows Noah and all the animals of the earth to multiply on the earth. Noah then builds a shrine or alter for God and offered hm animals to eat. God, recognizing the good of Noah and his help for the animals, promises Noah that he will never harm man kind again..................which, i believe, is a complete lie.
Noah was given everything on earth and a covenant was made by God that He would never flood the earth again. Unfortuanately in that same day he youngest son got him drunk and left him unclothed. When Noah awoke he cursed Canaan.

In chapter 8 of genesis begins with Noah's first months on the arch. It then describes the way he finds about the earth being dry, by sending a dove forth to find an olive leaf. When Noah finally deems the world safe and opens up the arch, the chapter finishes with Gods thoughts about his new faith in humanity and the rest of the world.

in chapter 7 of Genesis the Lord commands Noah to bring every species of animal in pairs upon an ark with him, for God was going to flood the earth. And the Lord did so when Noah was 700 years old. It rained and washed everything on the earth away that wasn't on the ark with Noah.

God thanks Noah for helping him with the arch. It was thanks to Noah that the people of earth survived. God tells noah that he should multiply the human race and that all the animals should multiply too. He also informed Noah they are going to make a covenent

Chapter seven of genesis is basically Noah's Ark if you know the story.
If you don't:
The lord tells Noah to put every animal onto an ark in pairs, because the earth was going to flood. Noah does as he is told and it rains. It rains and everything that's not on the ark is gone.
In Chapter 7 Noah prepares for the great floods. He creates an enormous ark that will hold two of every animal; male and female. Noah let all types of animals into the ark, clean, unclean and even the things that creep. The water then wiped out all the things that were dry, killing them.

Chapter 8 tells about what happens after the flood. Noah sent a dove out to see if all the water was drained. It also talked about how nothing would stop no matter what happened.
