After reading the three chapters, go back and write a three-sentence summary of one of the chapters. Here are your assignments:
chapter 4: Sofia, Rocco, Turner, Rosamund, Danny, Grete
chapter 5: (I know it's a strange chapter to summarize; do your best) Rachael, Alex M, Hunter, Nami, Austin, Alex P
chapter 6: Evana, Alison, Renee, Jake, Matt
If someone has already summarized your chapter on this blog, try to do one that's even more comprehensive and non-list-like; and try to avoid plot summary.

In the Genisis chapter 5 it told us how long the sons of Adam and eve lived for. You go down through the family line as to when they were born to the amount of years they lived. It show the way the these people were mysical in the fact that they lived of 200 years.
This chapter in the Genesis, tells the story of Noah, a good man who obeys god. God, dismayed by mankind's evil and violence, seeks to bring an end to the creatures he made with a incredibly destructive flood. God orders Noah to make an ark, with two of every animal on it, and Noah, the honest man that he was, did just that.
Checking in. . .
in chapter 4 of Genisis there are two boy born, Cain and Abel. They are both successful in what they do. Later on, Cain kills Abel so the LORD says to him that he is wrong to have killed him. Cain says that he will have to remove himself from the presence of the lord but the LORD says that is not so and that will not happen.
Adam started the family tree. His sons and and grandons and so forth all lived up untill about nine-hundred years old. They followed God and did what he asked of them. Eventually after many generations Noah was born and then his sons.
Chapter 6 in the Book of Genesis, tells about a man who was "perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God." God tells Noah to build an arch, telling him exactly how tall, wide, and long it should be. He also tells Noah to take aboard two of every creature--along with his family--for He is going to flood the earth to rid it of violence.
good job so far!
This is Hunter.
In chapter 5 of the Genesis, it explained how Adam and Eve started life. Each person(s) lived to be over 800 years old. They keep creating children until finally Noah was born.
The 5th chapter of Genesis is about the many generations of Adam and Eve's sons, up until Noah. It explains briefly their lives, including when they were born, when they died, and how many children they had. The people in this chapter lived for a long time, up to 800 years. (Is that in a literal or figurative sense? Did they count age differently then?)
Rosamund, ch. 4.
In chapter 4, the first reproduction of the world is introduced, as is murder. God punishes Eve's second son, Cain, for killing his brother, Adel, by banishing him to live in the land of Nod. Cain's family there is also described, and out of it come many different hobbies of people and even the first possible professions.
checking in? are we supposed to do this tonight?
In chapter 5 God is distressed. He finds help with Noah, who is man of perfection among all men on Earth. God wishes to wipe all evil off the face of the Earth with a giant flood, thus Noah building an ark. The ark holds two of every animal so they could all live.

In chapter 5, it starts out with Adam and Eve giving a child named Seth. Then it talks about the many children they had and how long they lived. At the very end, Noah is born and this ends the chapter.

In chapter 6, Noah was asked by God to build an ark made of gopherwood that was 300cubits by fifty cubits by thirty cubits large. God told Noah to put 2 of every animal on the ark, one male and one female. Noah did all that God asked him to do.
Hey, this is MATT MATT MATT!!!!!!!!!!! I'm just using Rocco's AIM to post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Genesis chapter 6 opens with the acknowledgment of human's extensive multiplication on Earth. The narrative takes a turn when God states that he has 'seen the wickedness of man' (6:5) and that he '...will destroy man whom [He has] created from the face of this earth,' with a most terrible flood. God resolves that, with with Noah, the most honest and deserving man on earth, '...will [He] establish [His] covenant,' and that Noah must thus craft and ark and on it bring two of each and every animal.
Alison again!!!

Mr Durning, I printed out a screenshot of the postin error that kept occuring over and over again. If this post works it will be the first, I've been trying for about an hour and a half.
In chapter four Adam and Eve have children Abel and Cain. They give offerings to god and god thinks that Cain's is not favorable. Cain get's angry and kills Abel and is punished by forever being a vagabond.
The main theme of genesis overall as described from the holy bible is:
Man's sin and the initial steps taken for his redemtion by a divine covenant made with a chosen race, whose early history is portrayed here.
I'll be checking in...
